Mustang Football Fundraising Sponsor Banners & Field Signs

Banners along the fence on the north side of the field have been a source of revenue for the Booster Club for several years now.

Who can purchase a banner?

Any business, organization or individual can purchase a field banner, with the exception of alcohol and tobacco companies, which are prohibited by C.I.F. rules. At this time, there are no exclusive deals in place that would prevent competing companies from purchasing a field banner.

How much do they cost?

Historically, these 15 feet wide by 5 feet high banners were sold for $1,500 for the first year and $1,200 for any successive renewal years. Note: the $1,500 fee included the cost of producing the banner.

How long do these banners remain up on the fence?

When it was only a Football Booster Club Program, the banners stayed up for the entire football season.

What changed and when?

In 2007, as part of the Manhattan Beach Athletic Foundation's fundraising campaign for the new synthetic turf field, that space was designated for the banners of major sponsors who contributed $5,000 a year to the project and will remain up 365 days a year for as long as each company continues to support the MBAF.

Are there still spaces available for more of the large sponsor banners?

Yes. In fact, the Football Boosters will soon be announcing the addition of a brand new field turf sponsor whose banner will join the others for the start of the new season.

So, does Football have any other opportunities to sell signage on the field?

Yes. For the 2007 season the Booster Club created a second space on which to place smaller, 4 foot wide by 3 foot high field signs. This space is on the short fence on the south side of the field, directly in front of the spectator bleachers.

How much do these field signs cost?

$725 covers the cost of producing the sign and displaying it throughout the football season.

How long do these field signs remain up on the fence?

Field signs stay up for the entire duration of the football seaosn.
