Mustang Football Chicken & Beans Potluck Dinner
- What is this about?
- This is the after spring practice pot-luck dinner/introduction to the football program for the continuing players and parents and families.
- When do I drop off the food requested?
- Starting around 2:00pm the cafeteria will be open to drop off the foods requested. Please have the food ready to serve, we do have plugs for crock pots. We will have extra salad bowls and serving trays and utensils. We will have ice for the drinks.
- Why am I asked to bring items based on my last name?
- This is the easiest way to get enough food for everyone and the total costs of each grouping is about the same. It also allows some creativity.
- When is dinner?
- Promptly after the Varsity scrimmage that is from 4:00pm to 5:00pm.
- When is the JV scrimmage/ Varsity scrimmage?
- The JV scrimmage is from 3:00pm to 4:00pm on the Practice Field at the corner of Keats and Meadows. The Varsity scrimmage is from 4:00pm to 5:00pm.
- What can I do to help?
- 1 – Help set-up starting at 2:30pm-set-up and cover tables and spread decorations.
2 – Clean-up after dinner-roll up table covers and place in trash cans, fold up tables and sweep floor.
- Should I RSVP?
- Yes, send an e-mail to fibrfac@gte.net or leave a message at 310-318-1454. Just so we can get an idea of how many people are coming. Leave last name or player name and how many people are coming. Siblings are very welcome.
