About the Football Boosters

Our Mission

The Football Booster Program exists to support and promote an excellent football experience for all players, parents, and coaches.  We "step up" to support our sons as they challenge their athletic abilities and become young men in the process. We support the football program through team activities, parent volunteer opportunities, and fundraising activities. In the words of past President Johnnie Morgan, "this is our time and our turn to do great things and let our children know we value their commitment."

Past and Present

The following are examples of the power we possess to create change, to improve our surroundings, and to give back.

Room 105 has given us the space to plan and learn.  Our Weight Room has given us the space and tools to build and grow strong.  Our new Athletic Field is a space to run freely and safely toward our goals! New filming equipment and technology has improved our coaches ability to communicate and teach.  This year we will be adding a Hi Pod camera in the end zone area to join other elite programs in technology and game coverage.

Fundraising

Mira Costa Football is funded entirely by parents and the MBAF.  Your commitment to the Booster Club and our fundraising activities ensures that Mustang Football will continue to be a force in the the Bay League and the CIF.  Today many programs are being cut across California due to budget constraints.  We invite you to continue the spirit of excellence we have enjoyed for many years at Mira Costa with your time, donations, and volunteer efforts.  We are looking forward, with our coaches, to another successful Mustang campaign in 2011.
