Mustang Football Room 105

Coaches Room

The Booster Club completely designed and built Room 105 as an auditorium, with tiered seating and fixed tables. This not only gives the players a clear, unobstructed view of the white board and video screen, it also makes it a great teaching facility for the Coaches who are able to capture the kids attention more so than in a regular classroom setting because they're all seated above them and have to be paying attention.

We've installed a state-of-the-art video viewing and duplicating system that rivals what many Division I college programs have. The incredible technology allows us to view game films in large format, clearer than ever before. We have two big screens we can project video onto so we can have two big groups (offense and defense) breaking down different films at the same time.

With this equipment, we can quickly and easily duplicate multiple DVDs so each player can have the ability to view opponents' game films on their own, at home, whenever they want, in addition to the meetings we normally have here on campus. Disks are broken down by offense or defense so players can analyze them specifically for their responsibilities by position.

Coaches Room

In the back of the room, behind the auditorium section of seating, are individual offices and workstations for the coaching staff. This not only gives them plenty of room for personal belongings and to store things related to the program, it also provides them with ample space in which to hold individual player meetings. There is also a common area with additional white boards where they conduct their staff meetings.

All in all, Room 105 is the nerve center of the program, a gathering place for coaches and players where strategy is developed and lessons learned.
